The day before yesterday we had what I like to call a gang banger blowout. There is usually one or two GSWs per night in my area but every now and then the pillagers go all out. We had 7 different GSW calls with a total of 13 patients and 3 deaths. This all happened within about 4 hours. One thing I’m a strong advocate of is learning CPR. Anyone can do it.
Local community centers and hospitals run classes all the time. It costs very little and can go a long way. Classes are only a few hours long too.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen CPR save a life.
